Hazem Qasim Urges the International Community to Fulfill Its Responsibility Toward Gaza
Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesperson, warned that the international community’s inability to provide assistance to Gaza is emboldening occupiers to intensify their blockade.
Speaking amid worsening conditions in Gaza following recent rains, Qassem called on the global community to fulfill its ethical, humanitarian, and legal responsibilities.
He emphasized: “The escalating disaster in Gaza after rain drenched worn-out tents and destroyed homes places unprecedented ethical, humanitarian, and legal obligations on the entire world.”
Qassem added that the ongoing failure of arab, Islamic, and international systems to deliver urgent aid as winter begins only encourages occupiers to increase siege measures and heighten pressure on Gazans-intensifying their suffering.
