What Happened in the Damascus Explosion?

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen network, local sources in Damascus stated that a missile hit a three-story building in the Ain al-Kroum neighborhood of the Mezzeh 86 district in Syria’s capital.
meanwhile, Syrian Al-Ikhbariya network quoted a security source affiliated with the Jolani regime as saying that an explosion occured when unidentified individuals attacked a residence in Damascus’s Mezzeh area, injuring one woman.
The official Syrian news agency SANA also cited a military source linked to the Jolani regime who reported that attacks targeting certain areas of Damascus were carried out using missiles fired from a mobile launcher.
The source added that the identity of those behind the attack remains unknown at this time.
Separately, according to an Al Jazeera correspondent, the targeted area in Damascus is entirely civilian and includes residential buildings as well as diplomatic offices.
The attack took place while Syria’s Ministry of Interior continued ongoing security operations across the capital.
The correspondent further reported that following the attack, Syrian internal security forces established an extensive security cordon around the incident site.
Security agencies have fully sealed off and taken control over the area where this attack occurred.
