American Pilot: Yemen’s Air Defenses More Advanced Than Expected

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Almasirah, reported that the American military website Task and Purpose described Yemen’s air defense as stronger than expected.
The report quotes a U.S.B-52 test flight pilot who said operations in Yemen revealed that the country’s air defense system is far more advanced than earlier assessments suggested.
The pilot added that Yemen’s air defenses significantly increase the risks for direct attacks by U.S. fighter jets against targets inside the country.
