American Pilot: Yemen’s Air Defenses More Advanced Than Expected

An American pilot has acknowledged Yemen’s advanced air defence capabilities, stating they are more complex than previously believed.

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing​ Mehr News Agency and​ Almasirah, reported that the American military website Task and ‍Purpose described Yemen’s air defense as stronger than expected.

The report quotes a U.S.B-52 test flight pilot who⁤ said operations in Yemen revealed ‍that the country’s air defense system is far more​ advanced than earlier assessments suggested.

The pilot‍ added that Yemen’s air defenses significantly increase⁢ the risks⁢ for direct⁢ attacks by U.S. fighter jets against targets inside the country.

Previously, ​Al-Akhbar newspaper reported that the Israeli regime remains concerned about the growing strength of ‌yemen’s⁣ Ansarallah​ forces.
