German Newspaper: Zelensky Likely to Resign

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the German newspaper Berliner zeitung reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky might resign if another corruption case involving those close to him is revealed.
The report notes that Zelensky came to power promising to fight corruption in Ukraine. However, not only has he failed in this effort, but he has also allowed corruption and cronyism to spread to a degree that now threatens the countryS national security.
Furthermore, the report emphasizes that Zelensky has permitted this cronyism among his friends and close associates, some of whom do not even hold official government positions.
Earlier, Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau announced indictments against seven individuals accused of corruption in the energy sector.
