U.S. and South Korea Conclude Joint Naval Exercise

The South Korean Navy announced the conclusion of joint military exercises with the United States in the East Sea.
The four-day exercise between the United States and South Korea took place from tuesday to Friday, involving numerous U.S. and South Korean destroyers and aircraft, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Yonhap via Mehr News Agency.
The South Korean Navy stated that the drills aimed to strengthen deterrence against North Korean threats and enhance operational coordination between the two countries. Exercises included anti-submarine warfare, air defense operations, and maritime logistics.
North Korea regards these joint exercises as a major cause of instability on the Korean Peninsula. These drills have consistently fueled tensions between Seoul and pyongyang.
