«Coordination Framework» Consultations Advance Toward Forming Iraq’s New Government

A member of the Coordination ​Framework⁢ coalition announced the start of internal consultations within the alliance to develop a roadmap for forming Iraq’s next government.

According to‍ the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al-Maloumeh,​ Issam Shakir, a member of the Coordination ⁢Framework coalition, stated⁢ that discussions among coalition‌ groups have begun to draft a plan⁤ for​ establishing the upcoming government.

He ⁣added that although initial parliamentary election results have been ​released, they are considered⁣ final and provide a general outlook on seat distribution.

Shakir noted‌ that coalition groups agree ⁤on the core principles for forming the new government. However, it is⁣ still ‌too early to identify ‍the next prime minister as negotiations are ongoing.

Earlier, Abdullah al-Dulaimi,‌ member of Iraq’s ⁣Azm Alliance, emphasized​ that⁢ all ⁢political parties and coalitions must work together ​to expedite forming the new government.

He warned that any delays in this process‌ could lead Iraq toward risky consequences.
