UNRWA: Heavy Rain Has Worsened Conditions in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News agency,citing Mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera,the United Nations relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that heavy rain in Gaza has made living conditions more difficult. Many families are taking refuge in any available spaces, including temporary shelters and tents.
UNRWA emphasized an urgent and critical need for shelter supplies and equipment in Gaza. While these resources are available within the agency, their delivery requires access permission.
The association called for immediate facilitation to deliver aid to residents.
Meanwhile, Adnan Abu Hasna, UNRWA’s media advisor, told Al jazeera that the agency is contacting relevant parties to increase pressure on Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.
