Baghdad Thanks Iran for Parliamentary Election Congratulations
Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign affairs has expressed gratitude for Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, congratulating the country on its prosperous parliamentary elections.
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement thanking Abbas Araghchi for his congratulatory message on the successful conduct of Iraq’s parliamentary elections,according to news agency webangah News Agency.
The ministry also appreciated Iran’s hope that the election results would strengthen national unity, enhance security, and support Iraq’s progress.
It emphasized that this stance reflects the deep ties between the two friendly and neighboring countries.
Yesterday, Abbas Araghchi sent a message congratulating both the Iraqi government and people on the success of their elections.
