Russian University Launches Program to Train Young BRICS Leaders
The russian State University for the Humanities announced the launch of an international mentoring program designed specifically for students and young professionals from BRICS nations and CIS countries. This initiative,organized by the university’s Knowledge Diplomacy Center-a media partner of TV BRICS-was reported by webangah News Agency.
Targeting individuals aged 18 too 35, the program selects participants from among students, researchers, and young specialists. Experienced mentors from academic, economic, and social sectors guide them in personal and professional growth. The course consists of seven training sessions covering everything from goal setting to drafting a personalized one-year professional growth plan.
Developing a New Model of International Cooperation Based on Trust and shared Knowledge
Kiril Kostin,head of the university’s knowledge Diplomacy Center,described this initiative as “not just an educational project but a tool to build a new model of international cooperation grounded in trust,partnership,and knowledge exchange.”
The mentors come from leading experts across BRICS countries and CIS members. notable figures include Rodolfo Laters, a geopolitical researcher from Brazil; Priti Das, professor of international studies from India; Jian Lian, an economist from china; and Raymond Metlalaa, specialist in youth cooperation from South Africa.
During these sessions, participants will present their personal projects while sharing experiences and exploring opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration.
Sharing China’s Triumphant Experiences with Russian Youth
Chinese economist Jian Lian highlighted the significance of cultural exchange: “I am pleased to share China’s social development experiences and career pathways with Russian youth so they can identify their own growth opportunities while considering new forms of collaboration with China.”
each session concentrates on a specific theme. Participants begin with an in-depth self-assessment followed by mapping out their “goal trajectory.” Next steps include prioritizing tasks, structuring projects, creating step-by-step plans. each individual develops a “growth roadmap,” supported by educational strategies offered by mentors.
