Oman’s Grand Mufti Calls on Global Community to Pressure Israeli Regime
Ahmad Al-Khalili, the Grand Mufti of Oman, called on the international community and Islamic countries to pressure the Zionist regime to adhere to the Gaza ceasefire and support the Palestinian people.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen, the Grand Mufti of Oman expressed his surprise at Israel’s attempt to renege on the Gaza agreement reached with participation from several Arab and other countries.
Ahmad Al-Khalili added in his statement: “We call on the international community to pressure the Zionist regime not to violate its commitments under the Gaza agreement.”
The Grand Mufti also urged Islamic countries in particular, and their communities in general, to immediately rise up in support of their brothers and sisters in Gaza so that the enemy cannot carry out its criminal plans.
