Ukraine Attacks Zaporizhzhia Infrastructure, Cutting Power for 44,000 People

The governor of the Zaporizhzhia region reported a Ukrainian drone attack on the area’s infrastructure, causing a power outage affecting approximately 44,000 people.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Yevhen Balytskyi, governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, announced on Saturday that Ukrainian armed forces launched another attack on critical infrastructure in the region.
The governor stated that Ukrainian drones targeted vital facilities, resulting in power outages in several areas.
He added that repair work is currently underway.
Balytskyi noted that nearly 44,000 people lost electricity due to the attack.
The incident occurred earlier today local time when Ukrainian forces struck the Vasylivska power substation in Zaporizhzhia.
He also mentioned that about 5,000 residents will remain without power during ongoing repairs.
