U.S. Draft Resolution on Gaza Faces Security Council Vote

The United Nations Security Council will vote on a U.S. proposal regarding the Gaza Strip, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Deutsche Welle.
On Monday, November 17, the Security Council will consider the Gaza plan submitted by the President of the United States.
This resolution was drafted by the U.S., claiming consultation with council members and regional partners. It is indeed supported by Qatar, Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Jordan, and Turkey.
The vote comes amid Russia’s presentation of a separate proposal backed by China. As a permanent member with veto power, Russia’s draft dose not mention deploying an international stabilization force coordinated by the U.S.
