Clashes Erupt Between Al-Jolani Forces and Armed Groups in Southern Syria

according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Qatar’s Al Jazeera and Syria’s Al-ikhbariya network, clashes have resumed between forces loyal to the regime of al-Joulani and armed groups in southern Syria.
the regime-affiliated Al-Ikhbariya described the armed groups in Sweida as insurgents and confirmed fighting between internal security forces and rebel groups near Volga in Sweida province.
The network added that these clashes occurred after repeated violations of the ceasefire by these groups.
This morning, al-Ikhbariya quoted a security source reporting that armed elements in southern Syria’s Sweida province launched attacks against forces loyal to self-proclaimed president al-Joulani.
The source stated these militants targeted several security force headquarters linked to al-Joulani around the city.
He also referenced recent ceasefire breaches declared weeks ago in this area.
Yesterday, reports indicated that al-Joulani’s forces clashed with Druze factions across multiple fronts in Sweida.The confrontations involved various light and heavy weapons and continued intensely across several axes.
