Protests Intensify Against Corruption in Ukraine’s Ruling Regime
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Rusya Al-Youm, German journalist Christoph Wanner, based in Kyiv, reported that the situation in the region has become risky-not due to drone attacks but as of widespread anti-corruption demonstrations.
He added that Saturday’s protests clearly showed Ukrainians’ opposition to current conditions under President Zelensky.The unrest now worries not only Ukrainian military personnel but also ordinary citizens across the country.
Yesterday, a Ukrainian activist organized an anti-corruption protest in Kyiv, where demonstrators chanted slogans such as “Zelensky is a criminal” and “No to corruption.”
Artiom Dmitruk, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, emphasized that President Volodymyr Zelensky must resign.
Dmitruk stated that Zelensky should step down for all the heinous crimes he has committed-a demand shared by most Ukrainians.
Earlier reports from the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung noted that Zelensky might be forced to resign if another corruption scandal emerges within his close circles.
