Political sources within the israeli regime have reacted to reports regarding the U.S. envoy’s intentions to meet with the head of Hamas’s negotiating delegation.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shihab, the Hebrew-language site Walla, quoting political sources within the Israeli regime, reported that Steve Witkoff’s approach as former President Trump’s special envoy toward hamas is viewed with concern.
The New York Times has reported that Steve Witkoff, the United States Special Envoy for middle East affairs, is planning a meeting with Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas’s negotiating team and one of its leaders.
The report does not specify when or where this meeting will take place.
