Israeli Regime Responds to UN Security Council Draft Resolution on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account that Israel will not allow the formation of a Palestinian state.
katz stressed the disarmament of Palestinian resistance and added that Gaza will be fully demilitarized down to the last tunnel. He saeid Hamas will be disarmed by the Israeli army in the “yellow zone” and either by international forces or Israel in Old Gaza.
The Israeli i24 news network reported that amendments made to a US-proposed peace draft for gaza approve establishing a Palestinian state. This development has intensified disagreements between Tel Aviv and Washington over the issue.
The UN security Council is scheduled to review the US-sponsored resolution on Gaza today, Monday. In an effort to secure votes from Islamic and Arab countries, Washington introduced changes including provisions facilitating steps toward establishing a palestinian state.
