NATO Confidential Report: Russian Nuclear Missile ‘Burevestnik’ Ready

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, the German newspaper Die Welt reported based on a confidential NATO document that Russia has completed the upgrade of its nuclear weapons arsenal and that the Burevestnik missile system is now operational.
NATO has been tracking developments related to the Burevestnik missile (SSC-X-9 Skyfall) for several years. Three weeks ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the successful completion of this nuclear cruise missile’s upgrade, stating it will soon enter operational service.
NATO stated that this missile can travel at speeds exceeding 900 kilometers per hour with a range of up to 14,000 kilometers.The report also noted that thanks to its nuclear-powered engine, these missiles have notable maneuverability capabilities.
At the same time, Putin emphasized that Russia does not threaten any country through its enhancement of nuclear capabilities.
