Jumana Al-Golay: Iraq’s Final Election Results Will Be Announced Today or Tomorrow
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing WAA news Agency, Jumana Al-Ghalai, the media spokesperson for Iraq’s Independent High Electoral Commission, announced that all remaining ballot boxes have been accounted for. The results from these boxes fully match the manual vote counts, ensuring 100% accuracy. She added that the final election results will be declared on Sunday or Monday.
al-Ghalai explained that they have finalized and counted votes from all outstanding ballot boxes, confirming complete consistency between electronic and manual tallies.
she emphasized that the commission has begun allocating parliamentary seats and also quotas for women and minorities. Provincial election offices have also started distributing result tapes to coalitions, parties, and candidates.
