Mexicans Protest Against Government Security Policies

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, demonstrations against the Mexican government’s security policies turned violent in the capital. Media reports indicate that 20 people were injured.
The protests, reportedly involving students, farmers, opposition party representatives, and numerous citizens, were organized to denounce violence and insecurity caused by organized crime that has plagued the country for years.
Demonstrators also used the killing of Carlos Manzo, mayor of Oruapan in Michoacán state on November 1, 2025 during the “festival of Light,” as a focal point for their protest.
The protesters emphasized that even with a change in government, security conditions have not improved. They called for continued recognition of victims of violence.
