According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anatolia, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro criticized a military exercise held by trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Sea.
Maduro accused Trinidad and Tobago of collaborating with the united States and described the drills near Venezuela’s coast as a threat to Caracas.
The Venezuelan president emphasized that his country’s people are ready to defend their nation against any potential U.S. attack. He called for heightened preparedness among Venezuelan police and military forces in response.
Meanwhile,Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Defense stated that the purpose of the exercise was to prepare for countering criminal groups.
