Trump Yields to Pressure, Releases Epstein Case Documents

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency and the American website Axios, President Donald Trump stated that House Republicans must vote to release documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case-a notorious billionaire and sex trafficker-as “we have nothing to hide,” and it is indeed time to move past what he described as a Democratic deception.
Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social: “It is time to move past this Democratic deception designed by far-left groups to distract public opinion from major Republican achievements,including success on government shutdown negotiations.”
Axios highlighted recent tensions between Republican Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, and trump regarding the Epstein document release. The report stated that Trump’s call for disclosure is driven by intra-party pressure.
The American outlet also noted that Trump’s shift increases the likelihood of a congressional vote on releasing Epstein-related documents.Previously reluctant, he now faces political pressure and criticism within his party.
