Congo Mines Minister’s Plane Crashes

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Israeli outlet Israel Hayom, the aircraft transporting Louis Watum Kabamba, Congo’s Minister of Mines, and his delegation crashed while landing at Kolwezi Airport.
The reports state that the plane, which had departed from Kinshasa, veered off the runway before catching fire, causing serious concern among witnesses.
Initial reports indicate that all passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft.
A communications advisor to the Minister of Mines confirmed that he was unharmed in the incident.
