According to the ⁣English section of webangah ‍News Agency, ‌citing Mehr News Agency ⁤and the Iraqi Prime MinisterS official website, Mohammed​ Shia Al-Sudani,‍ iraq’s ​caretaker Prime Minister, met with⁢ Masoud ​Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq, in Duhok.

During their meeting, both parties congratulated⁢ each other on ‍the triumphant parliamentary elections. They ⁤noted that wide public participation reflected voters’⁢ trust in⁤ the ⁣political ⁢system and democracy.

they ⁤emphasized the necessity for all national forces‍ to cooperate fully to fulfill upcoming responsibilities based on election results. They also highlighted ‍advancing reconstruction efforts, economic‍ reform, and ‍advancement to ‍meet citizens’ aspirations as well as​ address social⁣ welfare and ‍service needs across Iraq.

The meeting ⁤took‍ place at the American University of⁣ Duhok ⁤during the Sixth Middle East Peace⁢ and Security Forum.
