Islamic Jihad Responds to Gus Othion Anti-Zionist Operation
the Palestinian Islamic jihad Movement commended the “Gush Etzion” operation, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shehab News Agency.
On Tuesday, Islamic Jihad issued a statement congratulating the heroic operation carried out at the Gush Etzion junction south of bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
The statement read: “We congratulate the heroic operation carried out this afternoon by two heroes from our nation’s sons at the Etzion junction south of Bethlehem in the occupied West bank,which resulted in one death and several settlers wounded.”
Islamic Jihad emphasized that such courageous operations are responses to relentless crimes committed by settler groups and the occupying regime’s army against the Palestinian people.
The movement added: “These operations reaffirm our people’s determination to confront suppression and injustice with all available means.”
Expressing condolences for those who carried out this operation, Islamic Jihad called on Palestinians to intensify their response against settler crimes and those supporting them.
It is reported that during this incident one Israeli was killed and eight others were injured.
