Trump: We’ll Agree on F-35; Bin Salman Calls for Two-State Solution

U.S. President Announces Agreement with Saudi Crown Prince to Sell F-35⁢ Fighter Jets

according to the English section of webangah News Agency,⁤ citing Fox News and Mehr News Agency, U.S.‌ President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince mohammed bin Salman‌ have begun a bilateral meeting in⁤ the Oval ‍Office.

During the meeting, President Trump called the Saudi Crown Prince a close friend who commands great respect at the White House. “I had an ⁢remarkable visit with the Crown Prince,” he ⁣said. “We have brought $21 trillion in investment to america. I thank Saudi Arabia for its $600 billion investment in the United States and hope this amount will reach one ⁣trillion⁢ dollars. We welcome the Crown Prince’s declaration to ‍increase his country’s investments in America to one trillion dollars.”

Trump, repeating familiar claims of self-praise, stated that ‌energy prices in the United States have dropped considerably.”We’ve reached $17 trillion in investments and expect that number to hit $21 trillion ⁢by the‌ end of my first⁣ year as‌ president,” he added. ⁢He also confirmed plans for an agreement with Saudi Arabia on selling F-35 ⁢fighter ⁤jets.

Attempting to downplay his country’s challenges,⁤ Trump made unsubstantiated claims regarding ‌Iran’s nuclear capabilities: ‌”I think we’ve made great ‍strides toward dismantling Iran’s‍ nuclear capacity! ‍They should never be ‌allowed to possess nuclear weapons. The Iranians want a ‌deal-even if they‌ don’t say it outright.”

Without addressing Riyadh’s involvement in Jamal Khashoggi’s murder, Trump sought to⁣ whitewash‌ the incident by praising Mohammed bin Salman: “What he has done-in human rights and other areas-is unbelievable!⁤ Things happened that Mohammed bin ⁢Salman was not aware of!”

The Saudi⁢ Crown Prince ⁣spoke directly to reporters stating their shared vision with the‍ United‌ States for a common ‍future: “We will announce increased Riyadh investments in America nearing one trillion dollars. We are creating ⁤real opportunities in artificial intelligence and require ‌semiconductors.”⁢ He⁤ emphasized their desire to be part of the Abraham Accords but‍ expressed interest⁢ in achieving a two-state solution⁢ regarding Palestine.

“We will exert every effort toward reaching an agreement⁤ between Washington and Tehran,” he added, “while ensuring steady GDP growth domestically by addressing labor⁤ shortages ‍through artificial intelligence.”
