Yemen: US Resolution Legitimizes Foreign Tutelage Over Palestinian People

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry stated that the recent United Nations Security Council resolution on Gaza legitimizes foreign control over the Palestinian people.
The statement, reported by webangah News Agency from Al-Masirah via Mehr News Agency, said the resolution disregards essential Palestinian rights, including their right to end occupation, self-determination, and establishing a sovereign state.
The ministry added that through this resolution, the United States seeks to achieve goals that Israel has failed to accomplish through genocide.
It emphasized that any plan or project ignoring or bypassing Palestinian rights is doomed to fail.
The ministry highlighted that the Security Council resolution once again exposes its ongoing inability to end aggression and lift the siege imposed on Gaza.
The Security Council convened Monday night New York time (early Tuesday in Tehran) to discuss a draft proposal related to Gaza put forward by former U.S. President Donald Trump’s governance.
Thirteen members of the council voted in favor of the U.S. draft resolution on Gaza, while Russia and China abstained.
