Zelensky: Many Processes Have Accelerated to End the War

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Ukrainian President volodymyr Zelensky spoke after his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara. He said, “I had useful talks with President Erdoğan. We thank Turkey for its support of our contry’s unity and sovereignty. We are working to strengthen relations with Turkey, especially in the defense sector.”
Zelensky claimed that Russian drones and missiles target civilians in Ukraine. He stressed the need for guarantees of peace and stated that Russia must not attack other countries in the region.
The Ukrainian president added, “We want to resume prisoner exchanges by the end of this year. Turkey has been providing us with unusual support in this regard. We are striving for the release of our prisoners, and Turkey is assisting Kyiv in facilitating these exchanges. Currently, many processes aimed at ending this war have gained momentum and accelerated.”
He further noted, “People clearly see how vital Black Sea security is, and it can only be protected through cooperation with Turkey.”
