Kalas: We Sanctioned “Daqlo” in Support of Ukraine

The EUS Foreign Policy Chief announced sanctions against the deputy commander of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, stating a clear two-step plan: weakening Russia and supporting Ukraine.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaya Kallas announced that the European Union has sanctioned Abdel Rahim Dagalo, the deputy commander of Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces.
Kallas added that for any peace plan to succeed, it must have the backing of both Ukraine and Europe. She emphasized that sanctions are severely impacting russia and more measures are forthcoming.”We have a clear two-stage plan: to weaken russia and support Ukraine,” she stated.
Kaya Kallas further claimed that pressure should be applied on the aggressor, not the victim, warning that rewarding aggression only encourages more of it.
