Trump’s Plan for a Ceasefire in Ukraine Detailed
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News agency and Rossiya Al-Youm, Ukrainian sources claim to have obtained a 28-point US peace proposal aimed at establishing a ceasefire in Ukraine.
The alleged US plan includes the following provisions:
Conditional security guarantees for Ukraine;
Ukraine will enshrine neutrality and renunciation of NATO membership in its constitution, with NATO confirming that Ukraine will never join the alliance;
The size of Ukraine’s armed forces will be limited to 600,000 personnel;
Ukraine will remain a non-nuclear country;
The sovereignty of Russia over Crimea and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and luhansk People’s Republics will be recognized;
The kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions along the conflict line will be subject to a “frozen” military status;
A demilitarized buffer zone under Russian control will be established;
Both sides commit not to change borders by force;
NATO forces are barred from deploying within Ukraine; however, NATO fighter jets may deploy in Poland;
Security talks between the United States, NATO, and Russia will begin, alongside forming a US-Russia working group;

A major investment project led by the US and Europe aimed at rebuilding Ukraine is initiated;
$100 billion from frozen Russian assets allocated for reconstruction efforts, with 50% profit accruing to the United States;

The remaining frozen Russian assets dedicated to joint American-russian projects;
An Ukrainian development fund created for investments in infrastructure, resources, and technologies;
