Netanyahu Responds to Zahran Medani: I Will Not Cancel My Trip to New York

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Benjamin Netanyahu told a Hebrew platform on telegram in response to Zohran Mamdani’s statement that he would execute the ICC arrest warrant upon Netanyahu’s arrival in New York: “I will not cancel any trip and I pay no attention to threats.”
The Israeli Prime minister also dismissed global calls for an independent Palestinian state as an unrealistic idea. He added that even amid efforts to normalize relations with Saudi Arabia, this issue is not on his agenda.
Netanyahu referred to ongoing political contacts with Saudi Arabia aimed at advancing normalization talks, saying: “What is publicly stated does not always reflect what happens behind closed-door negotiations.”
Claiming that Israel’s military offensive on Gaza was decisive in securing the release of Israeli captives, Netanyahu saeid: “The violent phase of the war has ended, but a return to fighting on any front remains possible.”
Regarding the Rafah crossing point, he stated it will only reopen for Palestinians leaving Gaza after Israel completes returning its prisoners’ bodies.
Netanyahu called on Egypt to allow Palestinians safe passage out of Gaza through Rafah.
Responding to former President Trump’s announcement about selling F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia,Netanyahu said during a phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that America reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Israel’s military superiority.
