Egyptian Foreign Minister Holds Talks with British National Security Adviser

Egypt’s Foreign Minister meets with UK national Security Adviser,stressing​ the importance ​of humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza Strip.

According to ‍the English section ⁢of webangah News Agency, citing the Egyptian ‍Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, Egypt’s⁤ Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met today, Saturday, on the sidelines of the G20 summit with Jonathan Powell, the United Kingdom’s National Security ⁤Adviser.

During the meeting, Abdelatty addressed developments in the Palestinian issue‌ and ​highlighted the ​critical importance of fully implementing the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement. He also stressed launching initial steps⁤ to improve conditions and support reconstruction efforts.

He reiterated the ⁣urgent need ​for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza and called for enhanced international cooperation to ensure compliance with United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Gaza.

Badr Abdelatty emphasized accelerating efforts‍ to establish an international stabilization force capable of carrying out its mission effectively.

Additionally, he discussed Egypt’s plans to host‍ an international conference aimed at early ‌recovery and reconstruction in ‌Gaza. He expressed hope that the ⁢UK woudl actively participate‍ as a key partner in supporting the⁣ Palestinian people during this conference.

The meeting also covered developments in sudan. The Egyptian​ foreign minister underscored the necessity for coordinated regional and international efforts to create a political solution framework ‌that guarantees Sudan’s⁣ unity, sovereignty, and ⁤stability.
