U.S. President Addresses Domestic Unrest: Announces Potential National Guard Deployment in New york City
According to Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Jazeera, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed today, Saturday, that he would end the war between Russia adn Ukraine.
Regarding rising insecurity within the United States, the president stated he would deploy the National Guard in New York City if necessary.
This comes as The Washington post reported on October 31 that the Trump administration has extended the National GuardS mission in Washington D.C. until the end of February 2026.
The extension was unexpected, as it was originally estimated that this mission would conclude at the end of November 2025.
