Senior Hamas Official Accuses Israel of Obstructing Trump Peace Plan

Mousa Abu Marzouk, a⁤ senior official of the Hamas movement, told Al Jazeera that Israel is⁤ obstructing and‍ undermining the implementation of Trump’s plan and security Council resolutions, seeking to avoid fulfilling it’s commitments in the second phase.

He added that​ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is⁤ making excuses to violate⁢ the ceasefire agreement. Claims that Hamas suspended the agreement and returned to war in gaza ​are false.

Abu Marzouk emphasized Hamas’s efforts to successfully maintain an end to hostilities against the people of gaza. He ​called israel’s reports on resumed clashes by⁣ Hamas lies.

He ⁣also said it is⁣ unlikely that Hamas ‌woudl engage with an international‌ force being formed‍ to⁣ preserve peace in Gaza.
