Revelation of a Meeting in the Occupied Territories Sparks Controversy

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, the meeting between Mike Huckabee, the U.S. ambassador in Tel Aviv, and Jonathan Pollard, an American spy previously accused of spying for Tel Aviv, has deepened divisions within America’s right-wing factions.
The New York Times reported that this encounter, held last July at the U.S. embassy in occupied Jerusalem, ignited outrage among right-wing groups across the United States.
Hebrew-language media also reported that following the disclosure of this meeting, calls have increased to recall the U.S. ambassador from Washington.
The American right wing has accused huckabee of prioritizing Israel’s interests over U.S. national security. This faction-known by its acronym MAGA-is experiencing growing rifts regarding relations with Israel.
MAGA activists insisted that huckabee is no longer under control and described this meeting as indefensible. They argue that Huckabee does not demonstrate sufficient loyalty to America’s interests.
