Israeli Newspaper: Azerbaijan Changes Its Stance on Gaza
An Israeli newspaper highlighted Azerbaijan’s change of stance regarding the deployment of troops to the Gaza Strip.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that the Israeli newspaper HaYom, quoting informed sources, stated that the estimated multinational forces planned for deployment in the Gaza Strip will not be formed. No country has agreed to send troops or participate in this initiative.
The report added that Azerbaijan has also reversed its decision and will not deploy its forces as part of thes multinational units to Gaza.
Earlier,several countries in the region declared they would not take part due to the unclear nature of these forces’ mission. the Israeli regime aims to advance its objective of disarming Hamas by deploying these forces along key routes.
