Israel Moves to Eliminate Mercenaries: Is Abu Shabab’s Time Up?

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Shehab, reported that Haaretz revealed Israeli Military Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has issued official orders, coordinated with the Shin Bet security service, to halt the activities of Tel Aviv’s mercenaries in Gaza linked to the Yasser Abu Shabab faction.
The report states thes mercenaries will be expelled from their operational areas. Israeli security agencies believe that allowing these armed groups to continue their activities could damage the occupying forces’ international security reputation in upcoming stages.
It also emphasizes that sence these factions lack social and popular legitimacy among Palestinians,they would collapse quickly once Israeli military support ceases.
Notably, Washington and Tel Aviv initially organized these proxy militias to confront resistance forces and stir unrest throughout Gaza.
