Hezbollah Condemns New Terrorist Act by the Zionist Regime

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing mehr News Agency and al-`Ilam al-Harbi, Hezbollah’s public relations office issued a statement on Sunday strongly condemning the Israeli regime’s assassination of Hussein Hussein, a member of Hula’s municipality council.
The statement reads: ”This attack, carried out on Independence Day, November 22, 2025, confirms the enemy’s intentional intent to send a direct aggressive message to the Lebanese government and its local institutions. It represents an attempt to paralyze municipal functions and weaken their capabilities by systematically targeting council members, especially in southern Lebanon.”
Hezbollah emphasized that these terror attacks have occurred for the fourth time in a short period. This demonstrates that they face an intentional and planned policy of Israeli terrorism against civil society personnel. It constitutes a clear violation of international law and existing agreements that requires decisive action from the Lebanese government to prevent such assaults from continuing.
The statement further notes: “Despite these assassinations, we observe no tangible response from the international community. This raises serious questions about their commitment to protecting civilians and local institution employees.”
Hezbollah condemned again ”the assassination of martyr Hussein Hussein by the Israeli enemy yesterday,” labeling it as part of a recent string of crimes targeting municipal employees over recent days.
The group stressed: “Targeting civilians is a red line. Attempts to intimidate municipality workers will fail. We will not allow our enemy to turn these attacks into faits accomplis or established policy.”
