Moscow: Shatura Power Plant Targeted in Drone Attack; Fire Contained

According to ‌the English section ‌of‌ webangah News Agency, citing ​Anadolu⁣ Agency and Mehr News Agency, the Russian Ministry of defense announced that it intercepted 75 Ukrainian drones across various regions of‌ the country, including Moscow.

The ministry’s statement detailed: “last night, 75 Ukrainian ⁢drones were targeted and destroyed⁢ by air defense systems over multiple‌ areas, including Moscow and above the Black Sea.”

Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of Moscow, posted on⁢ social media that the Shatura ⁢power plant⁤ was targeted in a drone attack.several‍ drones struck the facility causing a ‌fire that has ‌as been contained. Emergency service operations ⁤are ongoing.

He ‌added: “We have restored electricity supply to ⁣Shatura city; the situation is under control.”
