Moscow: Shatura Power Plant Targeted in Drone Attack; Fire Contained

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency and Mehr News Agency, the Russian Ministry of defense announced that it intercepted 75 Ukrainian drones across various regions of the country, including Moscow.
The ministry’s statement detailed: “last night, 75 Ukrainian drones were targeted and destroyed by air defense systems over multiple areas, including Moscow and above the Black Sea.”
Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of Moscow, posted on social media that the Shatura power plant was targeted in a drone attack.several drones struck the facility causing a fire that has as been contained. Emergency service operations are ongoing.
He added: “We have restored electricity supply to Shatura city; the situation is under control.”
