Al-Nujaba Holds Israel Responsible for Escalating Tensions and Their Dangerous Consequences
the Islamic Resistance Movement of Al-Nujaba in iraq issued a statement condemning the attack on Beirut’s southern Dahieh district, holding the Zionist regime fully accountable for this aggression and its repercussions, according to webangah News Agency,citing Al-Manar.
The movement expressed deep concern over the rapidly unfolding developments in Lebanon following what it described as an unprovoked Israeli attack that resulted in the martyrdom of Mujahid commander Haitham Abu Ali Tabatabai and his comrades.
Al-nujaba’s statement said, “This aggression reflects the malicious nature of the Zionist project in the region, which aims to destabilize countries and target societies and leaders opposing its dominance.”
It added full support for the Lebanese people and their national forces-especially Hezbollah, regarded as a cornerstone of Lebanon’s national equation and a strong voice defending sovereignty and national rights.The statement noted: “The attack on Dahieh is an assault on a steadfast position within Lebanon that stands against efforts by the occupying regime to impose realities that conflict with Lebanon’s interests and stability.”
The movement held Israel fully responsible for heightening tensions and warned of dangerous consequences. It called on Arab and Islamic countries to end their silence by taking concrete action to support Lebanon and help its people withstand repeated aggressions.
Al-Nujaba also stressed the urgent need for political measures to protect civilians and stop attacks against residential areas.
In closing,Al-Nujaba praised lebanese unity behind Hezbollah,stating: “This solidarity remains one of today’s key deterrents against enemy attempts to drag Lebanon into chaos or undermine its autonomous decision-making.”
This evening, Israel conducted an airstrike targeting Beirut’s southern Dahieh district. The attack killed at least five people, including prominent Hezbollah commander Haitham Abu Ali Tabatabai; several others were wounded.
Hezbollah confirmed Tabatabai’s martyrdom.
