Al-Qassam Brigades Respond to the Killing of Prominent Hezbollah Commander

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Palestinian Shaab News agency, reported that the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, issued a statement expressing their deepest pride, honor, and trust in divine victory following the martyrdom of prominent Islamic Resistance commander in Lebanon, Haitham Ali Tabatabai, who led the Islamic resistance’s military operations.
The statement read: “Martyr Commander Sayyid Abu Ali was martyred defending Jerusalem alongside fellow mujahideen brothers during a criminal airstrike by the Zionist regime on southern Dahieh in Beirut.”
Al-qassam Brigades praised Tabatabai’s important role supporting the Palestinian peopel and their resistance during the “Al-Aqsa Storm” battle. They emphasized his key contribution to establishing and strengthening the resistance front against Zionist occupiers throughout years of conflict.
On Sunday afternoon, November 22, an Israeli airstrike targeted Dahieh in southern Beirut. The attack killed at least five people-including Hezbollah leader Haitham Abu Ali tabatabai-and wounded several others.
