Suicide Attack on Pakistan’s Frontier Corps in Peshawar Kills Three

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, news outlets have reported a suicide explosion in Peshawar, located in northwest Pakistan.
The sources confirmed that three people have died consequently of the blast.
The attack targeted the command headquarters of the border guard forces in Peshawar.
Officials linked to Pakistan’s police stated that terrorists’ attempt to assault the border guards’ command center was foiled.
Peshawar police, representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, confirmed two powerful explosions occurred at the site.
All access routes leading to the border guards’ command post have been blocked. The army and police forces are actively working to identify those responsible and clear the area.
Pakistan’s geo News reported that two suicide attacks took place at the start of this incident. There is a possibility that several security personnel were killed or injured on site.
This comes after Islamabad and wana Cadet College in northwest Pakistan suffered two deadly suicide bombings last month, which killed numerous civilians. The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan militant group claimed obligation for those attacks.
