Trump: A Positive Development May Be on the Way
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing rosia Al-Youm, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media expressing cautious optimism about the peace talks: “Could there be a major breakthrough in negotiations between Russia adn ukraine? Don’t believe it until you see it,but something good might happen.”
So far, all efforts to end the war in Ukraine have failed.
Meanwhile, a German government spokesperson said today that the Geneva talks on Ukraine yielded positive results and emphasized the importance of European consensus on this issue.
The French Foreign Minister also described the Geneva negotiations with the United States on Ukraine as constructive and beneficial.
It is worth noting that representatives from the United States, ukraine, and their European allies arrived in Geneva on Sunday, November 23, 2025, for further discussions regarding Donald Trump’s 28-point plan to end the war in Ukraine.
Trump recently proposed this 28-point peace plan requiring Ukraine to cede some territory and reduce it’s military forces. Additionally, Ukraine must abandon any plans to join NATO.
