Germany’s Chancellor Takes New Stance on Ukraine
The German Chancellor addressed the situation in Ukraine, stating that Europeans are committed to achieving a ceasefire, a just peace, and protecting europe’s security.
According to the English service of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr news Agency, German chancellor Friedrich Merz commented on the Ukraine conflict.
He said that Europeans are dedicated to securing a ceasefire and a just peace in Ukraine while safeguarding europe’s security.
the Chancellor emphasized that Russia must come to the negotiating table promptly. He added that no peace process will proceed without a clear willingness from Moscow.
Previously, in an exclusive interview with Deutsche Welle, Merz urged China to increase its pressure on Russia to end the war in Ukraine.
Friedrich Merz also dismissed claims that Europe has been sidelined in peace negotiations.
