Clash Erupts Between Armed Group and Jolani Faction in Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen via Mehr News Agency, severe armed clashes broke out in the Al-Badroosiyeh area on the northern outskirts of Latakia between an armed group and forces affiliated with the self-proclaimed Jolani government.
the confrontations resulted in several casualties and injuries on both sides.
Syria’s media reported that a Turkmen armed faction had seized control of a hotel in the region weeks earlier. Jolani-affiliated elements entered Al-Badroosiyeh to evict this group.
In response, reinforcements from the Turkmen side arrived, escalating into heavy fighting between the two groups.
Earlier reports from Homs indicated that a recent crime and armed clashes had also heightened tensions in that area.
