Ukraine’s Largest Drone Attack Thwarted; 249 UAVs Shot Down
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported extensive drone attacks by Ukraine and the country’s air defenses’ efforts to neutralize them.
The webangah News Agency English service, citing Rosia Al-Youm, reported that on Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced its air defense successfully countered one of Ukraine’s largest drone attacks overnight, intercepting and downing at least 249 drones.
The statement added that from 11 p.m. Moscow time until 7 a.m. the following morning, Russia’s air defenses continued to engage unfriendly drones.
Earlier today, the mayor of Kyiv stated that the Ukrainian capital was targeted by Russian missile and drone strikes, causing explosions and fires in several areas.
