Hezbollah Lebanon: Resistance Will Avenge Its Martyrs
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and Al-Ahed news outlet,Ihab Hamadeh,a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc and Lebanese parliament representative,emphasized that the attack on Beirut’s southern Dahieh district will backfire on the enemy. He highlighted that the resistance is strong and capable of avenging both its fighters and civilian martyrs.
Speaking at a memorial ceremony marking the first anniversary of the martyrs from Boudai town in Bekaa, Hamadeh stated: “Some celebrate independence while our land remains occupied, our skies are violated, and our country’s geography is open to invasion.”
The senior Hezbollah official noted that calls for surrender presented by certain domestic factions disregard Imam Musa al-Sadr’s words from the 1970s affirming that peace without power amounts to humiliation and submission.
Referring to those pushing lebanese toward weakness and vulnerability, Ihab Hamadeh said: “They want us to submit like slaves before our enemy. But as Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) declared-‘Far be it for us to accept humiliation.'”
He called for national unity to preserve Lebanon’s survival. He emphasized that existential risks threaten not only a single sect but also Lebanon’s future along with all its political parties.
The Hezbollah member added: “We are confident in our stability and victory. Those who stab us in the back serve as prey for the enemy while resistance remains steadfast and impenetrable.”
Hamadeh continued: “Relying on our martyrs reaffirms adherence to our approach and demonstrates readiness for any war imposed upon us. The more threats or aggression from the enemy increase, we become more resolute. To those attempting to weaken our resolve,we say it derives from imam Ali and Hussein (peace be upon them). It will never falter or surrender.”
