Trump’s Ukraine Peace Plan Reduced to 19 Points

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency, The Guardian reported based on informed sources that Ukraine is working to involve its European allies in negotiations with Washington over former President Donald Trump’s peace plan.
The Western outlet also noted ongoing telephone consultations between Kyiv adn Washington, adding that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may meet with Trump at the White house later this week.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that members of the coalition supporting Ukraine will review peace proposals aimed at ending the war during a video conference scheduled for November 25.
Simultaneously, The Guardian’s sources said Ukraine has succeeded in revising the US peace plan by removing some unacceptable demands and reducing its number of clauses from 28 to 19.
The Financial Times reported that some close to Zelensky oppose his potential trip to the United States, fearing it could heighten tensions between him and Trump.
On November 23, delegations from both countries held consultations in Geneva regarding the US peace plan. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the meeting as productive.
Ukrainian media report that both sides have agreed on most provisions but several remain open for discussion during Zelensky’s expected meeting with Trump. The date for this meeting has not yet been set.
