Kremlin: We Have Not Received the 19-Point Ukraine Peace Plan
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian Presidential Administration, announced Tuesday that Moscow has not yet received the updated 19-point peace plan regarding Ukraine. He added that Trump’s plan for resolving the Ukraine crisis could serve as a very good basis for negotiations.
Peskov further noted that a draft of the U.S. plan for Ukraine has been provided to Russia. This draft largely aligns with discussions held during the Anchorage summit between Trump and Putin in Alaska.
He also said Russia does not rule out possible communications with the united States regarding Trump’s peace proposal.The U.S. and ukraine are currently working on this peace plan. There is conflicting information and many contradictory statements circulating about America’s proposal,creating an ongoing information frenzy. Russia expressed gratitude to Turkey for its readiness to facilitate conditions necessary to continue negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Peskov added that discussing a security system without europe’s involvement is impractical, emphasizing that European participation will be needed at some stage in achieving peace over Ukraine. The Istanbul talks were halted through no fault of russia but were disrupted by Kyiv.
