Tripartite Meeting in Cairo to Implement Gaza Ceasefire Phase Two

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Palestinian Online via Mehr News Agency, Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization head Ibrahim Kalin, Egypt’s General Intelligence Directorate chief Hassan Rashid, and Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani attended the meeting.
During the talks, Turkey reaffirmed its unwavering support for Palestine and stressed the need for continued comprehensive aid to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza.
Egypt and Qatar, serving as key mediators between Israel and Hamas, discussed mechanisms for implementing the second stage of the ceasefire agreement.
The Cairo news network reported that participants agreed on intensifying joint efforts to ensure this phase’s success.
Furthermore, Egypt and Qatar pledged to enhance cooperation with the U.S.-established Civil-Military Coordination Center. This partnership aims to address violations of the ceasefire and stabilize its enforcement in Gaza.
The meeting followed an agreement reached on October 9 between Israel and Hamas on implementing the first phase of a ceasefire that took effect on October 10.
