Cuba: Any U.S. Intervention in Venezuela Is a Clear Violation of International Law

according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez emphasized that U.S. interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs violates international law and the United Nations Charter.
He added that the U.S. military presence in the region poses a serious threat to Latin America and the entire Caribbean basin.
The Cuban foreign minister also warned that any American attempt to overthrow Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro would be highly perilous, irresponsible, and contrary to international law and the UN Charter.
U.S. officials announced on Saturday that Washington is preparing to launch a new phase of military operations against Venezuela in the coming days.
Some U.S. government sources informed Axios that President Donald Trump has told his advisors he intends to engage directly with Nicolás Maduro.
The sources claimed this decision marks a meaningful shift toward aggressive diplomacy by Trump against Venezuela and may indicate that direct military action or attacks on Caracas are not imminent.
